Quarter-Finals Round 2: Karlovka - Inter Bratislava 59-89

Inter Bratislava cruised past Karlovka on the road to secure 2-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Inter Bratislava. Karlovka was better in third quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Karlovka's 38. Inter Bratislava forced 21 Karlovka turnovers and outrebounded them 48-32 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Croatian guard Petar Babic (190-85) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Peter Sedmak (207-85, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Richard Kucsa (189-85) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Robert Becarik (183-91) added 10 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
