Quarter-Finals Round 2: Enel Brindisi - Nanterre 72-77

Nanterre upset Enel Brindisi in Italy and swept the quarterfinal series. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-17. But Enel Brindisi won second period 16-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JSF Nanterre made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Enel Brindisi was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Kyle Weems (198-89, college: Missouri St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points. The other American import Mykal Riley (198-85, college: Alabama) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. American-Georgian point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St.) replied with 18 points and 5 assists and American guard Elston Turner (195-90, college: Texas A&M) added 15 points in the effort for Enel Brindisi. Enel Brindisi's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
