Zalgiris II escaped with a narrow home win over Petrochema to force the decider. Petrochema trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 20-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-71 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Petrochema 38-25 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Petrochema helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Paulius Valinskas (190-95) who scored 23 points. Power forward Regimantas Miniotas (206-96) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Aurimas Urbonas (197-93) produced 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Lukas Grabauskas (194-95) added 16 points and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
