Capitalinas advanced into Liga Superior Finals. They topped Guntanamo in the fourth game of the semifinal series to win it 3-1. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 49-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Capitalinas forced 24 Guantanamo turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Capitalinas made 7 blocks. Point guard Dairis Tornell (176-92) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Klavdia Calvo (186-83) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. International center Clenia Noblet (190-87) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and forward Oslaidis Rojas (180-91) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Guantanamo's coach Osmel Planas rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
