Very predictable result when fourth ranked IMOS Brno (13-7) defeated at home 9th ranked Aldast Strakonice (7-12) 61-53 on Wednesday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. IMOS Brno forced 19 Aldast Strakonice turnovers. The best player for the winners was American center Jenna Smith (191-88, college: Illinois, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Slovakian guard Ivana Jalcova (183-83) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. IMOS Brno's coach Jan Bobrovsky used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
