The game between Top Four teams took place in Skopje. First ranked host MZT Skopje (12-3) defeated 3rd ranked Kumanovo 2009 (10-6) 81-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kumanovo 2009. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-22. But Kumanovo 2009 won second period 22-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bosnian-Montenegrin swingman Sead Sehovic (197-89) notched 26 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and international center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, agency: Beo Basket) supported him with 9 points and 11 rebounds. Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by the former international guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88, agency: Beo Basket) did not help to save the game for Kumanovo 2009. Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89) added 18 points. Kumanovo 2009's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MZT Skopje have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-3 record. Kumanovo 2009 at the other side dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Feni Indistrija. MZT Skopje's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Karpos Sokoli.
