Umea bruised Visby to gain 1-0 lead in the series. Umea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Visby Ladies to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Umea dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Visby Ladies' 32 and made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Visby Ladies only scored four points from the stripe. Umea forced 36 Visby Ladies turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks.
