Sallen cruised past Alvik Basket in the playoff opener. The game without a history. Sallen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Sallen forced 29 Alvik Basket turnovers. Serbian Dajana Butulija (176-86, agency: Beo Basket) stepped up and scored 32 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) for the winners and the former international center Katarina Andersson (191-83) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sallen players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Shawnice Wilson (198-90, college: Miami, FL, agency: Merit Management Group) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and guard Anna Lundqvist (176-96) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
