Semi-Finals Game 1: Denso Iris - Fujitsu RW 59-68

Fujitsu RW clinched the opening victory in the semifinal series. They bruised Denso Iris on the road. Denso Iris were ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 41-28 second half run of Fujitsu RW. International point guard Rui Machida (161-93) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. At the losing side the former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and international guard Minami Iju (168-90) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
