Quarter-Finals Round 1: Proteas - Terpsithea 67-49

Proteas held off Terpsithea to sweep the quarterfinal series. The game without a history. Proteas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Terpsithea's 30. They outrebounded Terpsithea 39-25 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Proteas players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a very good performance for point guard Anna-Maria Manta (170-97) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. International center Maria Fasoula (190-97) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Proteas' coach Alekos Daglas used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Anna Maria Stefatou (-95) answered with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Chrisa Giannopoulou (170-98) added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Terpsithea.
