Quarter-Finals Round 1: AE Ellinikou - Athinaikos 75-54

AE Ellinikou overcame visiting Athinaikos to clinch the semifinal birth. The game was mostly controlled by AE Ellinikou. Athinaikos was better in third quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Athinaikos to just 6 points in fourth quarter. AE Ellinikou forced 21 Athinaikos turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a very good performance for American forward Lykendra Johnson (185-89, college: Michigan St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Evina Stamati (181-84) contributed with 24 points for the winners. AE Ellinikou's coach Eleni Kapogianni felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Diana Delva (188-88, college: Hartford) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Anastasia Kostaki (172-78) added 11 points in the effort for Athinaikos.
