Second Stage Round 12: KFUM Blackeberg - BG Lulea 64-71

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked KFUM Blackebergs' (2-16) home loss to sixth ranked BG Lulea (6-10) in Vallingby 64-71 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 27-19. But KFUM Blackebergs won second period 15-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded KFUM Blackebergs 36-24 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Anton Kobylak-Berglund (197-96) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Binyam Yigzaw (-91) replied with 13 points and Gitmis Koral added 7 points and 4 steals in the effort for KFUM Blackebergs. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BG Lulea moved-up to fifth place in BEHN forts, which they share with Jarfalla. Loser KFUM Blackebergs keep the seventh position with 16 games lost. BG Lulea will face Jarfalla (#5) at home in the next round. KFUM Blackebergs will play against Orongo Dragons in Sundsvall and hope to win that game.
