Quarter-Finals Round 3: Norrkoping - Uppsala 70-85

Uppsala upset Norrkoping away from home to gain 2-1 lead in the series. The game without a history. Uppsala Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Norrkoping Dolphins' 36. It was a great evening for American forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler, agency: 011 Sports) helped adding 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Burke is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Uppsala Basket players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks and Croatian guard Toni Prostran (181-91) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
