Sundsvall snatched a narrow road win over LF Basket to advance into the semifinal stage. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 30-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Akeem Wright (200-84, college: Kansas St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Wright is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. American guard Alex Wesby (198-80, college: Temple, agency: R.H.Consultancy) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and the former international swingman Christopher Ryan (196-90) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for LF Basket in the defeat.
