Quarter-Finals Round 1: Bakken - Horsholm 89-54

Bakken bruised visiting Horsholm in the opening game of the quarterfinals. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Horsholm to just 4 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Horsholm 46-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Horsholm's players. The former international power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose CC) fired 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international forward Morten Sahlertz (198-89) chipped in 28 points. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. American-Dominican center Alejandro Rodriguez (206-88, college: Iona, agency: Duran International) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Asbjorn Midtgaard added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
