Umea grabbed 2-0 lead in the series versus Visby. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 33-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Umea forced 29 Visby Ladies turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Visby Ladies helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Italian swingman Pamela Rosanio (178-86, college: Massachusetts) scored 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian forward Lina Pikciute (192-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Umea's coach Mikael Blomqvist felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Tricia Oaks (193-89, college: Colgate) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian guard Tea Buzov (176-90) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Visby Ladies players scored in double figures.
