Quarter-Finals Round 3: Tindastoll - Thor Thorl 88-76

Tindastoll beat Thor Thorl at home court to advance into the semifinal stage. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-76. Tindastoll dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Thor Thorl's 36. Tindastoll forced 25 Thor Thorl turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a good game for American guard Myron Dempsey (203-91, college: Paul Quinn) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Darrel Lewis (192-76, college: Lincoln, MO, agency: Two Points) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Tindastoll players scored in double figures. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) answered with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Gretar Erlendsson (200-83) added 20 points in the effort for Thor Thorl.
