Quarter-Finals Round 1: Anagenisi - Ippokratis 85-52

Anagenisi fired past Ippokratis in the quarterfinal opener. The game was mostly controlled by Anagenisi. Ippokratis was better in second period 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Anagenisi dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Ippokratis' 34. They outrebounded Ippokratis 49-30 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Anagenisi players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Ippokratis' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Asia Logan (183-92, college: Pittsburgh) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international center Fedra Skiadopoulou (192-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Anagenisi players scored in double figures. point guard Zoi Kechagia (170-79) answered with 15 points and point guard Victoria-Konstantina Gounari (172-95) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ippokratis. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
