Quarter-Finals Round 4: HyPo - PeKa 63-57

HyPo held off PeKa to force the decisive fifth game in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 11-7. But Peli-Karhut won second period 13-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. HyPo dominated on the defensive end, holding Peli-Karhut to just 7 points in first quarter. They also forced 20 Peli-Karhut turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-77, college: Xavier, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Anni Makitalo (175-91) who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Breanna Brock (187-90, college: Missouri, agency: Gamble Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 19 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Jasmine Gill (185-90, college: JMU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds.
