The game between Top Four teams took place in Geneve. Second ranked host Geneve Lions (5-2) defeated 3rd placed Neuchatel (3-3) 88-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Neuchatel. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Neuchatel was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Kenny Barker (191-86, college: Alaska-Anch.) who led the winners and scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import swingman Chace Stanback (203-89, college: UNLV) accounted for 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Senegalese power forward Pape Badji (208-92) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Neuchatel in the defeat. Five Geneve Lions and four Neuchatel players scored in double figures. Geneve Lions keep a position of league leader, which they share with Lugano Tigers. Neuchatel at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Fribourg. Geneve Lions will play against league's leader Lugano Tigers at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Neuchatel will play against Monthey and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
