An interesting game for MZT Skopje (13-4) which played road game in Gevgelija against Kozuv (9-8). MZT Skopje managed to get a 12-point victory 81-69. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. MZT Skopje outrebounded Kozuv 42-27 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Stefan Sinovec (195-88, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds. Slovenian-Serbian point guard Aleksandar Capin (186-82, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Serbian forward Milan Janjusevic (196-83, agency: BeoExcell) answered with 9 points and 10 rebounds and international forward Vladimir Brckov (200-89, agency: Beo Basket) added 15 points in the effort for Kozuv. Kozuv's coach Milos Pejic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MZT Skopje are looking forward to face Feni Indistrija (#4) in Kavadarci in the next round. Kozuv will play on the road against Kumanovo 2009 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
