Very expected game when 7th ranked BK Lions Hradec (17-25) was crushed on the road by third ranked BK Pardubice (29-13) 99-71 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by BK Pardubice. BK Lions Hradec managed to win fourth quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BK Pardubice made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. BK Pardubice outrebounded BK Lions Hradec 45-32 including 35 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Josef Prihonsky (189-93) chipped in 19 points. American guard Lamb Autrey (190, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Donald Robinson (193-89, college: W.Virginia Tech) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Pardubice have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 29-13 record having just three points less than leader BK Decin. Loser BK Lions Hradec dropped to the eighth place with 25 games lost.
