ToPo edged FoA to advance into SM-sarja semifinals. The game without a history. Torpan Pojat led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Heta Korpivaara (186-84, college: Seton Hall, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Niina Laaksonen (185-85) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Torpan Pojat players scored in double figures. American guard Ashley Evans (175, college: Kent St.) replied with 24 points and 6 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Brittany Kennedy (170, college: FGCU) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Forssan Alku.
