Valur held off FSU to even the series up at 1-1. FSU was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 52-33 second half run of Valur. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American point guard Nate Garth (188-89, college: UCSB) scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Illugi Audunsson (196-92) chipped in 13 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest.
