Semi-Finals Game 2: IA - Hamar 94-103

Date: March 29, 2015
Hamar advanced into D1 Finals following the second straight win over IA. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But IA won fourth quarter 31-30. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by IA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Julian Nelson (190, college: Coker) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. The former international swingman Larus Jonsson (181-78) contributed with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Hamar's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Jamarco Warren (180-88, college: Charleston So.) replied with 39 points (!!!) and 6 assists and the former international center Fannar Helgason (202-84) added 10 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals in the effort for IA. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
