Boras grabbed the lead in the semifinal series versus Uppsala clinching a comfortable home win in the opener. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 53-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Boras Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 5 rebounds. The former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. American forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler, agency: 011 Sports) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Uppsala Basket. Uppsala Basket's coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
