Valosun Brno held off Kara Trutnov to take 2-1 lead in the series. Kara Trutnov trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 14 after three quarters before a 26-18 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 76-82 at the end of the game. It was an exceptional evening for international guard Katerina Sedlakova (176-90) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American center Amber Sprague (196-86, college: San Diego) accounted for 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Valosun Brno's coach Marian Svoboda used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American swingman Sam Ostarello (188-91, college: Purdue, agency: LBM Management) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and center Lenka Pazderova (188-84) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Kara Trutnov in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
