Semi-Finals Game 3: FSU - Valur 108-75
Date: March 31, 2015
FSU advanced into the D1 Finals following a comfortable home win over Valur. The game without a history. FSU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Valur outrebounded FSU 45-0 including a 16- advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for point guard Ari Gylfason (186-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Collin Pryor (198, college: Northern St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five FSU players scored in double figures. Forward Illugi Audunsson (196-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Nate Garth (188-89, college: UCSB) added 17 points and 6 assists in the effort for Valur. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
