Semi-Finals Game 1: Sodertalje - Sundsvall 98-66

Sodertalje fired past Sundsvall to surge ahead in the semifinals. The game was mostly controlled by Sodertalje Kings. Sundsvall Dragons managed to win third quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sodertalje Kings had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Sodertalje Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sundsvall Dragons' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Danish guard Darko Jukic (198-90, agency: Two Points) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Sodertalje Kings players scored in double figures. Sodertalje Kings' coach Vedran Bosnic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Shane Edwards (201-87, college: UALR) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import swingman Akeem Wright (200-84, college: Kansas St.) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Sundsvall Dragons.
