Rieker Komarno overcame Inter Bratislava on the road to secure 2-0 lead in the semifinals. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Inter Bratislava won third quarter 21-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard T.J. Bannister (180-84, college: Liberty, agency: Inception Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists. Nigerian-American forward P.J. Alawoya (203-88, college: McNeese St., agency: Inception Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Alawoya is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Slovenian guard Samo Udrih (194-79, agency: PEPI SPORT) replied with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international power forward Peter Sedmak (207-85, agency: 011 Sports) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Inter Bratislava. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oleg Meleschenko rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
