Semi-Finals Game 1: Umea - Norrkoping 90-61

Umea cruised past Norrkoping to gain the lead in the series. The game without a history. Umea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Norrkoping Dolphins' 32. Umea forced 26 Norrkoping Dolphins turnovers and outrebounded them 29-18. American-Italian swingman Pamela Rosanio (178-86, college: Massachusetts) nailed 24 points for the winning side and Lithuanian forward Lina Pikciute (192-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) accounted for 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Umea players scored in double figures. The former international guard Johanna Kallman (172-87) came up with 21 points and 4 steals and the former international swingman Tanya Massamba (182-91) added 13 points respectively for Norrkoping Dolphins in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
