Quarter-Finals Round 5: Ezerunas-Karys - Rasai 83-62

Ezerunas-Karys fired past Rasai in the decisive fifth game of the series. The game was mostly controlled by Ezerunas-Karys. Rasai managed to win fourth quarter 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rasai 40-23 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Tomas Galeckas (184-94) who scored 11 points and 7 assists. Forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (200-82) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Ezerunas-Karys' coach Mindaugas Kildisius felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Karolis Guscikas (205-92) produced 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks and power forward Darius Marcinkevicius (201-91) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
