Quarter-Finals Round 1: Al Riyadi - Hoops 108-74

Al Riyadi cruised past Hoops to draw first blood in the playoffs. The game without a history. Al Riyadi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Hoops Club's 40. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Hoops Club's players. American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St.) stepped up and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Tyrone Nelson (206-85, college: N.Mexico St.) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Milo Abou Jaoudeh (185-91) scored 12 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
