Prievidza toppled Handlova to regain the lead in the semifinal series. Prievidza forced 21 Handlova turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Handlova helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Croatian forward Igor Maric (196-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Slovenian point guard Uros Zadnik (188-90) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Roman Vido (204-88) who recorded 15 points and Montenegrin-Serbian center Milovan Savic (205-87) added 15 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
