Kara Trutnov upset Valosun Brno on the road to seal the semifinal birth. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-17. But Valosun Brno won third quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American swingman Sam Ostarello (188-91, college: Purdue, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds. Forward Milena Prokresova (180-81) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Kara Trutnov players scored in double figures. Eva Kopecka (171-96) answered with 20 points and international guard Katerina Sedlakova (176-90) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Valosun Brno. Valosun Brno's coach Marian Svoboda rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
