BBL top team - Brose Baskets (24-4) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Walter Tigers (8-21) in Bamberg 100-59. The game without a history. Brose Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Walter Tigers to just 7 points in first quarter. Brose Baskets forced 22 Walter Tigers turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Walter Tigers' players. American guard Darius Miller (203-90, college: Kentucky) nailed 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) accounted for 21 points. American forward Augustine Rubit (201-89, college: S.Alabama) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-90, agency: Beo Basket) added 10 points respectively for Walter Tigers in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brose Baskets maintains first place with 24-4 record, which they share with ALBA. Walter Tigers lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 21 games lost. Brose Baskets will meet Bayern Muenchen (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
