Finals Game 3: Soles - Pioneros 74-79

Pioneros fired past Soles on the road to take the first win in the title series. Pioneros bounced back from back-to-back losses at home court to inject life in their title quest. Soles trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 23-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 74-79 at the end of the game. Pioneros made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American power forward Justin Keenan (202-88, college: Ferris St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Hector Hernandez (205-85, college: Fresno St.) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) answered with 16 points and Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) added 13 points in the effort for Soles. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
