Semi-Finals Game 4: Handlova - Prievidza 63-77

Date: April 8, 2015
Priviedza gained the third victory in the semifinals beating Handlova on the road. It looked good early as Handlova took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Prievidza had a 25-17 second period charge getting the lead and Handlova was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-77. Prievidza forced 20 Handlova turnovers. Handlova was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian forward Igor Maric (196-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 6 rebounds. Croatian swingman Marko Batina (197-86, agency: PEPI SPORT) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Prievidza players scored in double figures. Montenegrin-Serbian center Milovan Savic (205-87) replied with 22 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and Croatian swingman Luka Drezga (196-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 15 points in the effort for Handlova. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
