Regular Season Round 152: Washington W. - Brooklyn N. 80-117

Date: April 10, 2015
The Washington Wizards lost to the Brooklyn Nets, 117-80. The loss makes their record 45-34 and two games behind the fourth-seeded Chicago Bulls. Washington was led by Bradley Beal's 24-point performance. Marcin Gortat had a double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds. The Wizards struggled to make shots, only shooting 39 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point distance. John Wall sat out for his second consecutive game to rest for the playoffs. There has been no word whether he will play in the next game against the top team in the conference, the Atlanta Hawks, on Sunday. Wall's absence was obvious tonight, as the Wizards had 21 turnovers compared to the Nets' six. This was a must win for the Nets as they are battling the Boston Celtics for the seventh seed. Brook Lopez continued his hot streak, leading the Nets with 26 points and nine rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic caught fire off the bench with 22 points and 6 for 6 from three-point range. The 37-point victory was the largest ever in the Barclays Center. The Nets, who are still tied with the Celtics for the seventh seed, will head to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks on Sunday, April 12th. Courtesy of: vavel.com
