Quarter-Finals Round 2: Hoops - Al Riyadi 69-82

Al Riyadi knocked down Hoops away from home to secure 2-0 lead. It looked good early as Hoops Club took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Al Riyadi had a 22-8 second period charge getting the lead and Hoops Club was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-82. Al Riyadi players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Naturalized Egyptian power forward Ahmad Ismail (205-76) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks. The former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Charron Fisher (193-85, college: Niagara) replied with 25 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Khalil Aoun (195-90) added 22 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hoops Club.
