Quarter-Finals Round 1: Stal Ostrow - Zaglebie 92-65

Stal Ostrow fired past Zaglebie for the opening victory in the quarterfinals. The game without a history. Stal Ostrow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Zaglebie's 32. Center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Adrian Sulinski (185-89, agency: Promotex) chipped in 19 points. Five Stal Ostrow players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) responded with 9 points and 6 assists and Marek Piechowicz (201-88) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
