Semi-Finals Game 6: Uppsala - Boras 97-72

Uppsala overcame Boras and won the semifinal series 4-2. The game was mostly controlled by Uppsala Basket. Boras Basket managed to win fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Uppsala Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Boras Basket's 34. They outrebounded Boras Basket 41-30 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Burke is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Uppsala Basket players scored in double figures. Finnish Samuel Haanpaa (203-86, agency: Blacktop Management) replied with 27 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and American Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) added 14 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Boras Basket. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
