Quarter-Finals Round 4: Usti n/Labem - Prostejov 66-79

Prostejov got away with a road win over Usti n/Labem and won the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Prostejov. BK Usti nad Labem was better in fourth quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward David Steffel (212-85) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 6 rebounds. International Kamil Svrdlik (205-86, college: Fair Dickinson) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Prostejov's coach Zbynek Choleva allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Canadian-Polish Murphy Burnatowski (200-90, college: Colgate) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian point guard Hernst Laroche (185-89, college: N.Mexico St.) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BK Usti nad Labem. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
