Finals Game 2: Elitzur Ramla - Maccabi Ashdod 49-60

Maccabi Ashdod earned the second straight victory in D1 Finals. They upset Elitzur Ramla on the road to step closer to the title. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 60-49. Maccabi Ashdod dominated on the defensive end, holding Elitzur Ramla to just 6 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was American center Tiffany Jackson (191-85, college: Texas) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. The former international Shay Doron (175-85, college: Maryland) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. American swingman Alex Montgomery (185-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and her fellow American import Danielle McCray (186-87, college: Kansas) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts.
