The game with biggest result difference took place in Bayamon. Local Vaqueros (12-7) outscored 9th ranked Quebradillas (9-10) 109-89. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Quebradillas. The game without a history. Vaqueros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Miguel Ali Berdiel (198-83, college: Valparaiso) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Nigerian-American swingman Ebi Ere (195-81, college: Oklahoma, agency: Two Points) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Four Vaqueros players scored in double figures. American forward Malcolm Thomas (206-88, college: San Diego St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Tyler Wilkerson (203-88, college: Marshall) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Quebradillas. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vaqueros maintains third place with 12-7 record behind leader Arecibo. Newly promoted Quebradillas dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with San German and Guaynabo. Vaqueros will play against Atleticos (#7) in San German in the next round. Quebradillas will play at home against the league's second-placed Cangrejeros and hope to get back on the winning track.
