Semi-Finals Game 4: Njardvik - KR 97-81
Date: April 15, 2015
Njardvik held off KR to force the decisive fifth game in the series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-81. Njardvik forced 22 KR turnovers. Strangely KR outrebounded Njardvik 52-35 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Stefan Bonneau (177-87, college: LIU Post) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of his eight free throws). The former international Logi Gunnarsson (190-81) contributed with 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five Njardvik players scored in double figures. American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and the former international Helgi Magnusson (197-82, college: Catawba) added 19 points in the effort for KR. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
