Quarter-Finals Round 3: UBA - Tadamon 109-67

UBA cruised past Tadamon to reach the semifinal stage. The game without a history. UBA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Tadamon's 42. They outrebounded Tadamon 57-25 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Edward Bechara who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds. Bosnian-Serbian power forward Ratko Varda (212-79, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four UBA players scored in double figures. UBA's coach Nenad Vucinic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Jamaican-American guard Corey Williams (191-77, college: Alabama St.) who recorded 30 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the former international power forward Jad Bitar (204-88) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively.
