Familia Schio cruised past Venezia for 1-0 lead in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Familia Schio. Venezia managed to win second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Venezia 37-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Familia Schio especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. American Jolene Anderson (175-86, college: Wisconsin) fired 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Giorgia Sottana (178-88) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Familia Schio's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Aneika Henry (193-86, college: Florida) produced 12 points and 8 rebounds and Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side.
