Quarter-Finals Round 3: Champville - Moutahed 115-112 OT

Champville survived overtime drama versus Moutahed and advanced into the next stage of the playoffs. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Al Moutahed won third quarter 31-30. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Al Moutahed used huge pressure winning it 29-25 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 18-21. Champville made 32-of-40 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Al Moutahed was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Georgian power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (212-83, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!). The former international swingman Nadim Souaid (192-86) chipped in 28 points. Five Champville players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Dewarick Spencer (193-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-88, college: UTPA) added 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively.
