Sagesse defeated Homenetmen to gain 2-1 lead in the quarterfinal series. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-64. The best player for the winners was American forward Desmond Penigar (201-81, college: Utah St.) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. The former international swingman Elie Roustom (197-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Sagesse players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian center Michael Fraser (203-84, college: Oklah.Baptist) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and American point guard Dion Dixon (190-89, college: Cincinnati) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively.
